Constant Tension clamps from Turbosmart are designed to compensate for hoses' thermal cycling and deformation, such as silicone and rubber hoses. As components like couplers, pipes, and hoses undergo thermal cycling within an engine bay, they expand and contract in size. The outer “Spring Action Band” of our Constant Tension clamps works to maintain consistent force and load for maximum reliability, including resistance to deformation and “Compression Set.”
