CSF's unique oil cooler line design offers distinct advantages over conventional oil coolers (plate-type/stacked oil coolers). These oil coolers can be installed in tighter spaces or different areas of the vehicle with limited vertical surface area. Their longer, rectangular dimensions can also help avoid stacking too many coolers, which may restrict airflow to other components in the cooling system. Inlet/outlet port placement makes routing oil lines much easier. Typical oil cooler lines must be routed from different/opposite ends of the cooler, often facing upward or downward. Usually, one line must run across the cooler from one side to the other before both lines can be routed together to the oil system's feed/return connection. CSF oil coolers are much more robust and durable and can withstand a higher peak burst rate. This allows the cooler to be mounted in areas that may experience high debris exposure (front fascia, differential cooler, side vents, etc.). CSF oil coolers are designed to withstand tremendous amounts of vibration and debris.
